Live Seed Presents: Black L.U.V. Festival
This year Live Seed will be hosting a Black L.U.V. Festival mirroring the well-known festival in our nation's capital. With  L.U.V. standing for love, unity, and vision, we hope to engage the entire Memphis community in a positive manner. The purpose of the Black Love Festival is to promote literacy and raise funds for Live Seed programs. This FREE one day cultural event uses the arts as a vehicle to inform and enlighten communities on social justice, healthcare, education and other issues in underserved Memphis communities.
The festival will be open to all ages for a fun filled day with various food trucks, face painting, local vendors, performers, and also a poetry slam for ages 16 and up.
